Live in Uppsala Nov 15th: Living an embodied life and crafting the Way with Caroline Ross

Friday November 15th at 15:15 in the CEMUS Library (Villavägen 16), in Uppsala, Sweden.

Welcome to the Forest of Thought Live conversation*, “Living an embodied life and crafting the Way“. In this talk, host Ingrid Rieser speaks to artist, craftswoman, writer and T’ai Chi teacher Caroline Ross.

After decades of being immersed in Taoism, art, making and foraging (and almost a decade of touring with her rock band), Caroline’s practice weaves these diverse threads together into a philosophy of life centred on embodied living, exploring the Way (in the Taoist sense of the word) and making art as if the Earth mattered.

This afternoon’s conversation will take us on a meandering journey touching on these various but connected paths in the depths of the Forest of Thought. We hope you’ll join us!

A bit more about Caroline: You’ll find her sharing her passion for foraging and crafting via @foundandground on Instagram, and she writes on themes of embodied life, art and the Way as Uncivil Savant on Substack.

Forest of Thought is a podcast that explores the ideas we live by, re-examining the familiar and catching glimpses of the new. Hosted by Ingrid Rieser.

There will be fika, snacks, refreshments to enjoy.

Welcome!

*This gathering is part of a series of events during 2023-2024 under the theme of “Life-force: deepening conversations on desire, ecology and consciousness” hosted by Forest of Thought Podcast, made possible with funding from the Viriditas Foundation.
